What exactly is Ayurveda about?
Based on five thousand years of human experience, Ayurveda is actually the oldest and most comprehensive of all medical science we know. Practitioners recognize three states of energy and results in blending into the fabric five elements: ether, air, fire, water and earth. In turn, the elements are mixed in the composition of the human body and shape up the three doshas, which is the Sanskrit term for a form of biological energy. Everyone has a unique combination of the three doshas: Vata (air and ether), Pita (fire and water) and kapha (water and earth). The three doshas are in balance the energy of the healthy human body, with each person throughout his life one is predominant.
